Today, let’s talk about a bitter but extremely important truth.
Throw away those relationships that hurt your soul every single day. The ones where people burn with jealousy when they see your smile. The ones who feel uncomfortable with your honesty. The ones who become restless when they see your peace.
Lord Krishna says: “Where there is no love, there is no bond.” “Where there is no respect, there is no relationship.”
We humans often carry the burden of relationships in the name of “relations.” We keep thinking — maybe time will change things, maybe people will change, maybe tomorrow will be better. But we forget that the person who is making you feel small today will do the same tomorrow. Because the problem is not their habit — it’s their intention.
Lord Krishna says: “Listen to your heart.” Because the heart is God’s truest language.
When a relationship repeatedly makes you feel guilty, makes you lose respect for yourself in your own eyes, and slowly steals your self-esteem — understand that it is not nurturing you, it is breaking you.
Holding on to something that is already broken is not duty. It is attachment. Attachment is a sweet poison — it feels like nectar, but it hollows you out from within.
So, rise and let go of those relationships:
- That stop you from speaking your truth.
- That scare you by saying they will leave if you change. Because a relationship based on fear is not love — it’s a deal.
Lord Krishna told Arjuna: “Anyone who distracts you from your dharma (righteous path) cannot truly be yours.”
Today, your greatest dharma is to protect yourself — to protect your mind, your energy, and your peace.
Any person who takes advantage of your goodness, mistakes your silence for weakness, or calls your tears “drama” does not deserve a place in your life.
Remember: Not every relationship is worth maintaining. Some relationships only come to teach you that it’s time to become stronger. And once the lesson is learned, Lord Krishna himself gives the signal — it’s time to say goodbye.
Don’t be afraid of being left alone. Loneliness does not hurt as much as slowly dying every day while staying with the wrong people.
When you are alone, you meet yourself. When you stay in wrong relationships, you lose yourself.
Lord Krishna says: “Stay away from those who take you away from your true nature.”
Sometimes God deliberately makes you alone so you can realize that your worth is not in the crowd of people, but in the purity of your soul.
Let go of those relationships:
- Where you constantly have to prove that you are right.
- Where even your apology is seen as weakness.
- Where your trust is repeatedly broken, yet you are still expected to understand everything.
Understanding does not mean tolerating everything. Wisdom lies in taking the right decision at the right time.
Lord Krishna says: “If someone crosses your boundaries again and again — explain once, warn the second time, and the third time, leave them alone.”
Because the one who truly wants to understand, understands from the very first time.
Don’t think that leaving someone makes you wrong. You are wrong only when you abandon yourself — when you sacrifice your sleep, your peace, and your self-respect.
However, this does not mean that someone who corrects you on small things wishes you ill. If the disagreement comes from care, they may be your true companion. But if it stems from ego, it is better to distance yourself from such relationships.
So, from today, take this resolve: I will no longer keep relationships that break me. I will no longer tolerate people who make me feel small.
Because we belong to Lord Krishna — and a devotee of Krishna can never be diminished.
